About Us

We’re an owner-operated farm in Falls, PA producing microgreens, mushrooms, flowers, veggies, eggs, and herbs.

Our growing practices are deeply rooted in a few wild notions about whole food nutrition, sustainable closed loop agriculture, and the importance of thriving local food systems- which make it easier and more affordable to eat healthy, buy local, and trust your food.

We’re passionate about healthy nutrient-dense food and love to grow things that are fun to play with in the kitchen.

Our Growing Practices

  • It’s important to us that we can trust our food, and that you can too.

  • We’re enthusiastically committed to sustainable and regenerative growing practices.

  • We don’t use chemical fertilizers or pesticides of any kind.

  • Our on-farm solar array offsets 100% of our electricity use.

  • Our microgreens are grown hydroponically in a soil-less medium (coco coir) and they don’t use fertilizer or nutrients.

  • We use farm-made compost and as our primary source of fertility.

  • Our compost is hot composted and experiences sustained temperatures of 160 degrees for food safety and weed mitigation. (read more about compost here)

  • We use no-till practices on established beds.

  • We feed our animals well, treat them with dignity and respect, and ensure they have room to sprawl.

  • We’re intentional about manure and compost management to prevent agricultural runoff and are wholeheartedly committed to conservation and land stewardship.
